Koh-I-Noor Hardtmuthの太芯ホルダー、No. 43B。双頭式の芯ホルダーです。 eBayで手に入れたのですが、かなり古いものかと思われます(1930年より前か?)。 ちなみに"Hardtmuth"というのはKoh-I-Noorブランド創始者の姓。 Henry Petroski "The Pencil: A History of Design and Circumstance"(1989)の翻訳、 『鉛筆と人間』(晶文社 1993年)では「ハードムット」と表記されていますが、 これが英語圏の発音なのか東欧圏での発音なのかは不明です。
